A barn fire at Blaenffynnon Fach, Cross Inn, Llwyndrain, was extinguished by firefighters from Whitland, Crymych and Cardigan on Tuesday evening.

The blaze broke out shortly after 8 pm and involved 20 large bales of hay, one Topper agricultural machine and a mower.

Crews used a water shuttle from nearby hydrants, two hose reel jets, two breathing apparatus sets and a positive pressure ventilation fan to tackle the fire.
