A firefighter fromTenby will be taking on a gruelling marathon challenge this June - in full kit!

Cam Broadhurst will be running the Wales Half Marathon on Sunday, June 29, as part of the Long Course Weekend in Pembrokeshire.

The event, kicks off with a massive procession through the historic streets of Pembroke to the start line, with the course then joining with the Wales Marathon course to end, and a red carpet finish line at The Salterns in Tenby where you can expect gigantic crowds, and a lot of cheering, bringing the three-day triathlon weekend to a close.

“After recent events, I have decided to take part in the Wales half marathon, during LCW in fire kit and a BA set, for the firefighters charity,” said Cam.

“It’s going to be a challenge, but I truly feel like it’s worth it, I’m looking forward to it.

“Any donations would be greatly appreciated,” added Cam, who has already surpassed his £500 target, but is looking to raise as much money as possible for the worthy cause.
