Pembroke Dock Fire Station, in partnership with Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre, invites members of the public to their two-day community event held at the Sunderland Trust Dockyard Chapel.

The event will take place today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday).

The event is being held in memory of the Lanreath oil tank fire of 1940, which was the largest fire in the United Kingdom since the Great Fire of London, and saw five firefighters from Cardiff lose their lives.

The two-day event will be a great opportunity for the community to meet their local firefighters and get involved with activities such as chip pan demonstrations, aerial rescue pump recovery and entrance to the museum.

MAWWFRS look forward to seeing everyone there.
