THE exhibition Charles Norris in Pembrokeshire 1805-1841 will come to an end at midday tomorrow (Saturday) when the museum closes for the Christmas period.

The exhibition features over 60 works from the museum's collection by this highly talented 19th century artist and the pictures act as a visual record of a changing town before the advent of photography.

The museum has also been fortunate to have had eight volumes of his work on loan from Cardiff Library for the duration of the show and these have been made available to researchers by appointment.

The exhibition was a joint venture with the publication of the book Charles Norris in Pembrokeshire 1805-1841 which is available for purchase at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery.

This publication includes essays by various contributors on Norris's life and his contribution to the artistic and social history of the locality.

The museum will re-open on Wednesday, January 2, and the trustees would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support and wish you all a very merry Christmas.
