A major feature film shot partly on location in Manorbier Castle has just gone on general release.
'I Capture The Castle', based on the book by 101 Dalmatians author Dodie Smith, is billed as 'an enchanting love story' set in 1930s Suffolk.
The film follows 17-year-old Cassandra Mortmain and the fortunes of her eccentric family struggling to survive in a decaying English castle.
She and her sister eventually find love with two Americans who inherit their estate.
Starring Australian Rose Byrne and Romola Garai, who appeared in the BBC adaptation of Daniel Deronda, as the sisters, Henry Thomas and Marc Blucas as the Americans, along with Bill Nighy, Tara FitzGerald and Sinead Cusack, the film was also shot on location in London and on the Isle of Man.
The production, by Trademark Films/BBC Films spent a fortnight on location in Manorbier Castle in 2001, and a shot of the castle is featured in a television advert for the film.
