A Cistercian monk, white-cowled and shaven-headed, climbed into the carved pulpit of Tenby’s 13th century parish church and preached on church unity. It was a moment of history, witnessed by a congregation of Protestants and Catholics, numbering 650 - nine out of 10 of them women.
