After hearing about acts of vandalism which had taken place on the beaches of Tenby during the summer, Clr. Gilroy Phillips said that the time was rapidly approaching when a curfew would have to be imposed. Under such a curfew, no person under the age of 18 would be allowed out after the hours of darkness unless accompanied by an adult.

The public inquiry to hear objections to British Railway Board’s proposal to close the Whitland to Pembroke Dock line was to be held at the De Valence Pavilion, Tenby.
