One of Tenby Borough Council’s newest members, Clr. Hector Lee, urged the council to take a long-term look at the car parking problem in the town.
Tenby Railway Station was to be managed by a staff of only four - two signalman, a signal-man-porter and a porter. And it would not be possible to buy a passenger ticket at the station. Tickets would be available from the guard on the train.
During the previous quarter, 401 crimes were recorded in Pembrokeshire - an increase of 42 as compared with the September quarter of 1965.
