Pembrokeshire County Council Cabinet Members are being recommended to award a series of county projects more than £220,000 between them next week.

The Cabinet meets on Monday, July 6 and will discuss 15 grant applications under the Enhancing Pembrokeshire Grant awards.

The money for the Enhancing Pembrokeshire Grant awards comes from a council tax premium charged on second homes and empty properties.

Around £1.2m is generated per year.

Organisations applying for grants include sports clubs, village halls and community councils, for projects ranging from solar panel installation, upgraded recording equipment and a website for a local horticultural society.

The total recommended by Grant Panel for the 15 projects is £221,363.

Cabinet meets at 10 am on Monday via Skype.
