TO celebrate the Christmas art exhibition, Deck The Walls at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery, there will be an Open Day on Wednesday, December 9, where each visitor will be permitted free admission to the museum.

The exhibition features works by 11 artists - Jack Ashley, Julian Brown, Eden Evans, Grahame Hurd-Wood, Ian McDonald, Mick Morgan, Doug Perry, Steve Robinson, Paul Roche, Darren Yeadon and Sarah Young - and includes works of ceramics, paintings, glassworks, screen-printing and sculpture. Sarah Young will also be available at the museum for an informal 'Meet the Artist' session.

For part of the Open Day, the Friends of Tenby Museum will be serving spicy mulled wine.

Collections manager Mark Lewis said: "The Open Day is an ideal opportunity for visitors and locals to enjoy this excellent art show as well as the chance to appreciate the other exhibitions on show at the museum, including the new exhibition of a recreated Victorian and Edwardian shop. The works of art would make perfect Christmas gifts and the mulled wine is surely an added incentive."

The museum is open from 10 am - 5 pm (last admission 4.30 pm).
