Three good causes received 'brilliant' donations totalling over £10,000 on Saturday night as a result of money raised from the spectacular display of Christmas lights at Kilgetty's St. Mary's Place.

Overwhelmed by the record-breaking generosity of visitors from all over Pembrokeshire and beyond, the residents, who pulled out all the stops to deck their properties with festive illuminations, were delighted to present £3,410 each to the South Pembrokeshire Travel Fund, the Daniel Burrows Trust Fund and the Special Needs Assessment Playgroup at Withybush Hospital.

Cancer sufferer, Daniel, who had the honour of performing the grand switch-on, is seen here receiving his cheque from some of residents and children, along with Ann Bowyer, of the South Pembs. Travel Fund, and Cindy Jenkins, of SNAP.
