Tenby's Charity Christmas Market takes place tomorrow (Saturday) with a weekend of festive fun running into Sunday with the spectacular Santa Fun Run taking place in the town.
Four local organisations, Tenby Chamber of Trade and Tourism, Tenby Lions, Tenby Ladies Circle and Tenby Town Council, have joined together to give the community two days of festive cheer on the Saturday and Sunday, with various events happening.
From 10 am through to 6 pm, the Christmas Market will be held in Tudor Square and High Street, and to add to the atmosphere, the Salvation Army Band will be playing, a choir formed for the event by the Tenby 50-plus Friendship Club will be performing, and dancers from the newly-formed Kelly Williams School of Dance will entertain with street dance, cheerleading and musical theatre.
Carol singing and snow machines across the town will also add to the Christmas spirit.
The Tenby Lions will be holding their annual craft fair in the De Valence Pavilion in Upper Frog Street; also attending along with his elves will be Father Christmas in his grotto.
Sunday, brings further festive cheer, with the Santa Fun Run taking place at 12 noon, organised by Tenby Ladies Circle.
Last year saw 70-plus entries for this event, with each entrant given a Santa suit, to run, walk or hobble their way round a 3k course in Tenby.
