THE next exhibition to be held at Colby Gallery, near Amroth, will be a joint one, by Harry Gardiner and Laura Meadows, entitled 'Feathered Friends'.

Harry from Tenby and Laura, Whitland, will be showing studies of Britain's native birds, including our beloved Pembrokeshire sea birds.

Harry has already exhibited this year at Colby as a photographer, proving that he is as accomplished wielding a camera as he is with a paintbrush.

In contrast, this will be Laura's first exhibition, although one large, much admired and extremely handsome golden eagle has been keeping his eye on the gallery since she brought him in at the beginning of the season... surely time this bird had flown.

To make it yours, visit the exhibition any day, 10 am to 5 pm, from September 19 to October 2 - optimum time to visit the National Trust Woodland Gardens in the season of 'Mists and Mellow Fruitfulness'.

NB. On the same theme, but more painterly than poetry, bookings are being taken for Graham Hadlow's Watercolour Workshop in the Small Gallery on October 11; subject - you guessed it - 'Mist'. Ring the gallery on 814200 to reserve a place.
