It’s no secret that some people will be going along to this weekend’s Narberth Food Festival just to sample the musical offerings.

And who can blame them - there’s no better way to relax than taking in a tasty combination of food, drink and great sounds, seated comfortably in the event’s entertainment area.

So find something to eat and drink, pull up a seat and enjoy!

Strolling players Fiddlebox will be mingling with the crowds, along with street entertainers China Fish and Marco Fiera.

And amongst the performers on the the festival stage will be former Darts front man Bob Fish, over 40 years in the music business; quirky harpist Harriet Earis; acoustic duo Duncan and Rebecca Whitehurst and accordion virtuoso George Whitfield.

There’ll be rock/Americana sounds from festival regulars Thomas Crimble and Davey Jones and great rock, pop and blues covers from Sleeping Dogs, while Carmarthen Ukuleles and Tudor’s Rhythm Kings will be boosting the feelgood factor.

There’s free entry for under 18s to the festival throughout the weekend, and kids can have plenty of fun with Big Play Narberth, with activities including a food-themed treasure hunt, craft activities, parachute games and bubbles.

Narberth Food Festival takes place on the Town Moor, Narberth, on Saturday and Sunday.
