Whitland Town Council is holding a Father Christmas Night on Friday, December 8, at Grosvenor Square, for children of primary school age and under. There will be carol singing and mince pies at 6 pm, and Father Christmas will arrive at 6.15 pm. The Town Council is also asking these children to enter a competition to try and find a hidden item in a shop window in St. John Street on the same evening and then bring their answer, written on a piece of paper, to the festive celebrations. This item will have absolutely nothing to do with Christmas. The winner will receive a prize.
