Today (Friday) sees local businessman Andy Lee and his son Ben start a European challenge in aid of Tenby RNLI.
“My son Ben and I have bought an old banger for our adventure and have been doing it up,” says Andy, of Doc Windows.
The pair headed off yesterday (Thursday) driving to France to register the vehicle for the banger rally.
Today, they will drive 504 miles to Annecy, before heading over the Alps to San Remo, Italy, tomorrow. Sunday sees them drive to Monaco and then on to Perpignan, then the last day they drive to Barcelona from where they will fly home.
“All expenses are being met by us, the car, hotels, fuel, flights,” said Andy.
“Every penny we raise will be donated to RNLI Tenby and we appreciate all donations. I know a few boys on the RNLI and chose it because it’s a good cause for Tenby.”
