PLANED's Pembrokeshire Sustainable Agriculture Network and the Farmers Union of Wales have arranged an open meeting for Thursday of next week (December 4 at 7.30 pm).

It is being held to discuss the Welsh Assembly Government's proposals (Axis 2 -Land Management Consultation) for the future of all agri-environment schemes, including Tir Mynydd, Tir Gofal, Tir Cynnal and the Organic Farming scheme, which could have a massive impact on future income. The proposals also review the funding opportunities for future energy crop developments.

The meeting is to take place at the Plas Hyfryd, Narberth, and the speaker for the evening will be Jon Westlake who is the Welsh Assembly Government's project manager for this consultation.
