When Mrs. Gill John announced her retirement from Tenby Infants School, LSA Mrs. Rachel Batchelor, herself a former pupil, wanted to present her with an extra special leaving gift. So she asked her brother, Mr. Ben Couch, who just this year graduated with first degree honours in illustration, to draw a picture of the school.

After presenting Mrs. John with her gift, Rachel had a lot of people asking if they could purchase a copy.

After speaking to Ben and Mrs. John, it was agreed to sell copies at £5 each as a fundraiser for the British Red Cross shop in Tenby, where Rachel and Ben’s mum Gillian is the manager.

So far, a total of £150 has been raised and copies can still be purchased at the shop.

The shop is also looking to recruit new volunteers. Anyone interested can pop into the shop and have a chat or call on 849645 to speak to Gillian or Lily.
