Pembrokeshire County Council’s Deputy Leader visited the Giraldus Centre in Manorbier last month to see the 'fantastic' community hub which opened recently.
Backed by PCC, including £107,000 funding from the Enhancing Pembrokeshire Grant, the centre is run by a group of local volunteers and the trustees of the South Ridgeway Community Association.
The centre is a place for everyone, residents and visitors alike, offering a range of indoor and outdoor spaces for all manner of events, sports, exercise and gatherings, classes and activities.
Starting shortly at the centre will be a food hub offering lots of fresh and healthy options offered by local producers.
PCC’s deputy leader Cllr Paul Miller said: “It was lovely to see this fantastic facility up and running and already proving to be a major asset to the Manorbier community.

“This is a prime example of what can be achieved with partners from across different sectors all working together for a common goal.
“I am delighted that we have been able to support this venture and wish it all the best for the future,” he added.
