Dwr Cymru Welsh Water's Llys-y-Fran reservoir will be a hive of activity next Wednesday, August 9, with their third Summer Holiday Fun Days.
The action kicks off at 10 am and there will be plenty on offer to entertain the whole family during the day.
Rangers will be on hand to assist with the activities which will include boat trips, fishing, mountain biking and environmental games. Children will also be able to put their creative skills to the test in a crafts area.
Sandra Stitchell, office manager at Llys-y-Fran, said: "The fun days have been running for a few years now, with each year proving more popular than the previous one. With activities to suit all ages, there really is no reason not to come and join in the fun."
Llys-y-Fran reservoir is the largest game fishery in West Wales. The 212-acre mixed fishery of rainbow and wild brown trout has been used as the venue for national and international fishing competitions. There are disabled angler facilities, and the hire of fishing boats is also possible.
Set in 350 acres of country-park with oak woods and views of the Preseli mountains, a wide range of pursuits take place at the reservoir. Suitable for walkers and cyclists, the site has a six-and-a-half- mile perimeter trail and offers mountain bike hire. Dwr Cymru Welsh Water is committed to promoting access and recreation at its reservoir sites. Last year, a record number of visitors enjoyed both the beautiful locations and the opportunity to learn about the environment.
The sites, which are managed by Dwr Cymru Welsh Water operating partner United Utilities, host a range of activities for all ages and abilities, including angling, sailing and windsurfing, pond dipping, bird watching and guided nature walks.
