Dwr Cymru Welsh Water countryside rangers at Llys-y-fran are gearing up for some fun activities for all the family this summer holiday.
The Summer Fun Day takes place next Wednesday, July 23, from 10 am to 1 pm, and is open to all school-aged children. There will be a variety of activities available for children to take part in, including boat trips on the reservoir, fishing, bike rides along part of the country park's perimeter trail and a variety of environmental games and crafts.
There will be a small fee of £1 for children and £2 for adults to take part in the activities, with all proceeds being donated to the Prince's Trust Cymru.
Site controller at Llys-y-fran, John Sampson, said: "We hope the day will provide youngsters with a taste of the types of activities that can be enjoyed at Llys-y-fran throughout the summer."
John added: "The fun day will be open to anyone and any equipment used will be provided by Dwr Cymru Welsh Water. We ask that all children taking part are accompanied by a parent or guardian." Those wishing to join in should meet on the patio of the Visitor Centre at 10 am. For further information, please call the visitor centre on 01437 532694.
