Tenby's inshore lifeboat was launched on Sunday afternoon to go to the aid of three youths who were reported to be stuck on rocks at Lydstep Haven.

The Manorbier coastguard team were also called out shortly after 2 pm after members of the public saw the youths in difficulty.

Both rescue teams carried out searches of the shore and coastline, but were unable to locate the three youths.

The incident was treated as a false alarm with good intent.
