A tourist on Caldey Island raised the alarm on Saturday when they thought they saw a boat sending out a distress signal.
Tenby's ILB was launched to investigate at approxmately 12.18 pm.
However, when the ILB arrived alongside the vessel, which was two miles south-east of the monastic isle, it found that those aboard were safe and well and in no trouble.
