Narberth is to have something of a facelift. The Charles Salmon Memorial Gardens, as well as street furniture in the town, is to have a spring clean. "All seating will either be replaced with new benches or painted, while all ornamental posts, lamp-posts and litter bins will be spruced up for the forthcoming holiday  season," said County Councillor Wynne Evans, who had the request granted during his regular  monthly inspection of the town with local authority officers. "So many people take great pride in Narberth, but I felt this was letting the town down," he added.
