MOVIE extras are being sought for filming due to take place in Pembroke in May.
Shooting for the film based on Jojo Moyes's romantic best selling novel Me Before You is set to take place in the town, with proposed dates (yet to be confirmed) including May 14 to 15 and May 18 to 21.
Agency The Casting Collective put a post on their Facebook page and website towards the end of last week, looking for 'urgent' castings for 'men and women' wanting to be extras in a feature film shooting in Pembroke in mid-May.
The post states that extras would be needed for between 'one and three days work' with 'all ages and looks welcome to apply over 16 years of age' with 'good rates of pay'.
A number of shop owners and businesses in the town have been approached about using their premises for filming, with Pembroke Town Council clerk Suzie Thomas recently informing local councillors that she had spoken to the production company representative who was keen to stress that they wanted to work with the town's people and shopkeepers to avoid any disruption to their daily lives and businesses during the filming.
