Pembrokeshire County Council's access officer, Alan Hunt, has been appointed to the newly-formed Building Regulations Advisory Committee for Wales.

The committee is to advise the Welsh Government in the specialist area of the needs of disabled people on any changes or amendments to the Building Regulations in Wales.

Alan has been with the county council for nine years.
