Greenhill Centre's Annual Exhibition of Work was opened on Tuesday by Anne Wakefield, Head of Lifelong Learning and Development, Pembrokeshire County Council.

The exhibition, which runs until 1 pm on Saturday, is a celebration of the achievements made by students attending classes at Greenhill and Saundersfoot Community Learning Centres.

Work on display includes all the different disciplines of Art - life-drawing, oils, watercolours; computer art; 3D decoupage; parchment craft; embroidery and traditional stained glass.

The standard of work on display is extremely high and demonstrates what can be achieved when people are encouraged to develop their potential.

Mrs. Wakefield commended the students on the high standard and thanked the staff for their contribution throughout the year.

The centre will be continuing their celebrations this evening when they hold their annual awards evening. Tonight they will be recognising the achievements of students who were successful in external examinations, held at the centre, during the previous year.

The evening will commence with a short performance by some of the LAMDA speech and drama students, who were highly successful in their recent examinations. (The external examiner said, it was overall the highest standard she had examined all year!). This will be followed by the presentation of certificates.

The evening commences at 7.30 pm and all are welcome.
