FOR the past 16 years, a determined group of artists under the guidance of Mrs. Yvonne Mannings, of Apple Tree Gallery, Saundersfoot, have held an annual exhibition of their watercolour paintings at the village's Thomas Memorial Congregational Church Hall in High Street.
This year is no exception, and the exhibition of work by more than 20 of Mrs. Mannings' students is currently taking place.
The exhibition, which runs until July 25, is open for people to view every day from 10 am - 5 pm - except Sunday.
Over the years, watercolour painting has become more and more popular and many people have joined the three weekly classes held at the Apple Tree Gallery and their skills have developed considerably, which is very evident again in this year's exhibition.
On display and for sale are interesting still life compositions, flower studies and many landscapes and seascapes, as in the summer months the group of artists can be seen around the coast painting the well known landmarks and views of Pembrokeshire.
Another exhibition of work by these artists will take place at the Community Hall, Lawrenny, from August 15-25.
And Mrs. Mannings will begin her classes again in her Apple Tree Gallery in October.
