In response to huge local demand, the prestigious Executive IT course will now run at Pembrokeshire College's outreach centres in Tenby and Pembroke Dock. The course, which has previously only been available at the college's Haverfordwest campus, is designed for anyone who has already achieved information technology skills to an intermediate level. The course is a great opportunity to acquire a high level of competence in a range of software and gain nationally recognised qualifications at Level 3. Students will have the chance to take OCR exams in text processing, word processing, audio transcription, document presentation and legal word processing, all at Stage 3 leading to a diploma in OCR level 3. In addition, students can take the CLAIT plus certificate, the new ECDL Level 2 certificate, and Pitman certificates in manual and computerised accounts Level 2. The executive IT course will run for 34 weeks starting on Monday, September 13, in Pembroke Dock and Wednesday, September 15, in the Tenby Centre. The course will run over three days between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at the Tenby Centre, and Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays in Pembroke Dock. The course is free.
