Charlwood Productions' exciting Magical Musical Music Hall returns to the De Valence, Tenby, on Wednesday, June 20, at 8 pm, bringing together the best of the West End musicals and the nostalgia of the Music Hall. Charlwood Productions, who visited several times last year with An Evening of Gilbert and Sullivan, have written and produced the show especially for the De Valence and are made up of three exceptional singers and a highly talented pianist. David has been producing shows and performing across Pembrokeshire and on the professional circuit for many years having appeared at the Torch Theatre as part of the Torch Theatre Company and with many of the local Opera Companies. Rachel graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire, was a founder member of the New D'Oyly Carte Opera Company and has sung for the English Touring Opera in many different roles before moving to Pembrokeshire in 2006. Pam has had lead roles over the years in both Haverfordwest and Milford Haven Opera Societies and appeared with Peter Carrie at the De Valence in May 2006. Jill has been the accompanist for Tenby Male Voice Choir for a number of years and is looking forward to appearing at the De Valence again. The first half of the show consists of extracts from many a West End musical, including Kiss Me Kate, Oklahoma, Les Miserable and My Fair Lady. After the interval, the audience will be taken back in time to the hey day of the Music Hall featuring classic songs and sketches and culminating in a good old fashioned sing-along for all to enjoy. An evening of fun, laughter and music not to be missed! Tickets £6. Doors open 7.30 pm, show commences 8 pm.
