This year's annual production by Haverfordwest Operatic Society is sure to be another sell out. They will be performing the Broadway version of the Pirates of Penzance at the Torch Theatre from Tuesday, May 21 to Saturday, May 25 at 7.30 pm.

Although many of the original songs remain, they have been given the Broadway touch alongside additional music brought into this version.

Expertly directed by Carol MacIntosh and musically directed by Ifor Phillips the cast have been enjoying the challenge of the fast paced and energetic show which is full of humour and drama.

The leading lady of this year's show is Connie Fisher who recently produced a charity CD for the Noah's Ark Appeal and performed alongside Charlotte Church in front of Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas at Sofia Gardens in Cardiff.

The monumental set has been designed by Megan MacIntosh who is studying at Glasgow University and has been expertly built by the staff of the Torch Theatre.

If the success of last Autumn's tour of the county and the Society's previous shows are anything to go by this will definitely be a show not to be missed.
