Pembrokeshire's leading coach operator, Silcox Coaches, launched their first ever winter breaks brochure recently, the only local tour operator to do so.

Designed and printed by Haverfordwest company CIT Brace Harvatt, who produce all the company's brochures, this latest addition to their portfolio offers value for money deals on weekend and mid-week breaks over the usually quiet winter period.

Featuring an interesting and exciting selection of weekend and short breaks to a host of popular destinations, the breaks, which run from November to February, come in addition to the main season holiday brochure.

With something to suit all tastes, there is plenty to choose from, with two-for-one bargain breaks, winter warmers, theatre breaks, mid-week tours, continental breaks and Christmas shoppers.

Many breaks also include excursions to attractions and places of interest

The Belgium Explorer, the Ostend House Party and the tale of two of Scotland's cities to Edinburgh and Glasgow, are just some of the vibrant destinations on offer to visit for a short break, while a trip to Liverpool will enable you to re-live the 'Swinging Sixties' at 'The Beatles Experience'.

You can also take in the English Riviera, Newquay and the Eden Project, Woolacombe and Chester, together with a trip across the Irish Sea for a four-day weekend to Dublin for the Ireland v Wales Six Nations rugby international, which, as it is not exclusively for rugby fans, gives everyone the opportunity to visit the city and soak up the hospitality and craic.

Also included in the brochure are the popular '2 for 1' West End shows, where you can see musicals such as 'Mamma Mia' and 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang', and during your stay in London you might also like to enjoy some retail therapy!

Tony Hopkins, Silcox tour manager, hopes the brochure will be a huge success.

"We felt that there was a gap in the market in introducing this brochure, as no other local tour operators bring one out," he said.

"We thought we'd take advantage of the quiet season and try and promote holidays and short breaks at budget prices throughout the winter period."

But most importantly, Silcox Coaches aim to provide a friendly service, with quality coaches, comfortable hotels and, above all, value for money.

The brochure is available from Silcox offices in Pembroke Dock and the Town Walls Arcade, South Parade, Tenby, plus Activity Wales, Haverfordwest, Milford Travel in Milford Haven and Narberth, Ocky White Travel in Haverfordwest, Redwing Travel Agency, Pembroke and Saundersfoot, and Tenby Travel in Pembroke Dock.

Alternatively, it can be mailed directly to you on request.
