Castle School, a new independent secondary school for Pembrokeshire, is inviting prospective families to explore its proposals at two open sessions on April 24 and 25.
The school, which opens in September to offer places for pupils up to GCSE level, is based at the old schoolhouse site in Cresselly.
Families are invited to visit from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, April 24, and from 3 to 6 pm on Saturday, April 25.
"This is a very exciting step for those of us who seek to see more choice and flexibility in Pembrokeshire's secondary education," says director Harriet Harrison.
"We want pupils to enjoy secondary education and achieve their absolute best while avoiding some of the stresses associated with big schools and large classes," Harriet continued.
"Our school offers parents who are anxious about secondary education an opportunity to access affordable independent schooling in the heart of Pembrokeshire."
Castle School will welcome pupils of all abilities within mainstream education. It is committed to providing an exciting curriculum that engages pupils, while promoting high academic standards.
The school's small class sizes offer stress-free learning, encouragement of high expectations, learning through engagement and there will be zero-tolerance of any form of bullying.
School day transport will be provided from Haverfordwest and possibly other county locations depending on demand.
Interested parents can find out more by visiting the school's website http://www.castleschoolpembrokeshire.co.uk">www.castleschoolpembrokeshire.co.uk, attending the open sessions or calling 01437 541220.
