Are you a woman looking for a new challenge? Do you want to make changes in your life? Would you like more independence? Ever thought of working for yourself?
If you've answered 'yes' to any of these questions, then why not go along to one of the free workshops being offered by PLANED and Women's Enterprise Wales?
The workshops are running in Pembrokeshire during May, June and July in venues throughout the county and highlight the advantages of self-employment for women.
PLANED offers a one-day workshop for women to come together and explore ideas and opportunities for making changes in their lives, whether that be self-employment, training or getting a job.
Women's Enterprise Wales (managed by Chwarae Teg) are running two-day workshops to explore in more detail what is involved in becoming self-employed. The workshops will also help to raise confidence levels and provide mutual support amongst women.
Sue Leonard, entrepreneurship and training manager, PLANED, said:
"All the workshops are presented in an informal, relaxed atmosphere with an emphasis on helping women to recognise their skills and develop their potential. Women who come on the workshops do not have to have a definite business idea, just enthusiasm and a desire to do something different!"
The next workshop is being held at the Seaview Hotel, Fishguard, on May 13, and June 4 and 5. To find out more about these workshops or to get details of the full programme, telephone PLANED on 01834 860965 or Chwarae Teg on 01269 845155.
All the wokshops are free of charge and costs of registered childcare can be covered. PLANED is partly funded by the Rural Stress Scheme administered by the WCVA and Chwarae Teg is funded by the Welsh Development Agency and the European Development Fund.
