THE Gwili Steam Railway Co. is launching a Driver Experience Day during the month of May. Saturday, May 5, and Saturday, May 19, have been allocated for these driver experience days and are open to anyone over the age of 18.
The day will start at 7 am, in order to light up and check for boiler pressure. A shovel breakfast will follow at about 9.30 am and then it will be away to go! By 5.30 pm, the day will finish, when no doubt a good wash will be needed.
Places are very limited on each day and you will need to book in advance. All meals and instruction are included and the cost will be £150 per person. This must be every big boy's dream and for further information, please contact Jeremy John on (01267) 238213.
