SAUNDERSFOOT U11s 12 TEMPLETON U11s 1

Following their three previous wins Saundersfoot U11s maintained their unbeaten record against the newly formed Templeton side.

Starting the game playing up the slope, Saundersfoot soon found their rhythm and took the lead early in the game when a series of swift passes saw Grant Hardy, playing his first game out of goal, guide his shot over the crowded penalty area into the net.

Hardy soon netted again before the ever-impressive Jamie Williams maintained his goal scoring record bagging the third.

Scoring on their first real attempt at goal, Templeton continued to battle against the more experienced Saundersfoot side with their goalkeeper Sam James pulling off a string of fine saves, before Hardy grabbed his hat-trick just before half time.

In the second half Danny Merrix replaced Hardy and Saundersfoot continued their dominance of the game.

Further goals from Jamie Williams saw him complete his hat-trick.

Corrie Broadhurst, playing his first game in the Saundersfoot goal, had little to do as Templeton struggled to by-pass the defending of Ryan Marsh, Matthew Grey and Danny Harries, with James Whitehouse working hard in midfield.

Saundersfoot carried on playing their passing game and goals from Danny Harries (3), Danny Merrix and James Criddle, completed the scoring. Thanks go to the Templeton side who, despite the defeat, played the game in good spirits and to Johnny Watkins for his refereeing skills.
