Everyone is welcome to Pembrokeshire College's equine department's Open Day at Bowlings Riding Centre at Rudbaxton, near Haverfordwest, on Tuesday, June 12, from 11 am until 2 pm. Please bring riding clothes as there will be an opportunity to ride and be assessed as to which course is suitable for you. Tutors will be available to answer questions about the courses starting in September, as well as show people around the centre. Someone will also be available to answer questions relating to course funding and student welfare. "The new courses for September will cater for horse owners who want to gain a better knowledge of how to look after their horses, or for people who want to work towards a career in equine," said lecturer Lynne Lloyd, "and ranges from Foundation to NVQ 2 in Horse Care and BHS Stage 1 to 2 and BHS Horse Owners Certificate." For more details, please contact Michael Butcher or Lynne Lloyd on 01437 741214, or simply come along to the open day to find out more.
