Tenby’s entertainment venue has been brushing up on its look ready for plenty of activity ahead of the summer.
Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, Deputy Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown, said that the De Valence Pavilion was just undergoing the final stages of part of its painting refurbishment, to go alongside other enhancement work that had been carried out at the premises recently.
“We’ve taken a lot of bookings for the rest of the year, with the Tenby Sharks boxing club here three nights a week, and the indoor market on a Wednesday.
“Rehearsals are still taking place for the Happy Days musical to take place at the end of June, whilst the wrestling will return on May 31, and then for seven weeks over the summer.
Clr. Mrs. Brown also told her colleagues that next month there would be a wedding reception, football and rugby dinners, birthday parties held at the venue, as well as a Bob Marley Tribute act booked for July.
