Watch Pembroke’s own community wind band, Castle Brass, add to the festive atmosphere at Pembroke Castle Christmas Market on Saturday.
With a selection of cheery carols and Christmas tunes, the brass band was one of many musical groups providing a festive background throughout the weekend. Other musicians included choirs from Golden Grove, Penrhyn and St Teilo’s Primary Schools, The Merrymakers, and Cleddau Flutes.

The Christmas Market at Pembroke Castle attracted thousands of visitors to see the best of Pembrokeshire as over 80 local businesses and charities were gathered together in one place.
From Pembrokeshire Gold, purveyors of locally produced rapeseed oil, to the Pembrokeshire Cider Company, local traders and craftspeople were out in force. There were fantastic decorations made out of oranges and fir cones; Exquisite woollens in rainbows of colour; traditional sweets from Lollies, fudge made by Roly’s; cakes ‘What Maisie Baked’; Turkish delight, olives, local cheese, and much more.
Pembroke and Monkton History Society had a stall, as did Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre. Charities represented included the Paul Sartori Foundation and the Woodland Trust. The Torch Theatre had gifts for the children, and a rather cuddly looking elephant helped promote the cause of the 2Wish charity.
In addition, a variety of locally-produced street food, including wood-fired pizzas, crepes, lamb burgers and coffee, was available from Pembrokeshire vendors.
