A vibrant new exhibition opened at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery on the weekend ‘Wounded and the Art of Healing’.

Contemporary artist Louise Burdett’s exhibition which runs until August 20 explores themes of identity and control, with the work part of a new collection of paintings and drawings.

With figurative, abstract expressionist and landscape painting techniques mashed, together we are taken somewhere between the conscious and subconscious to glimpse a journey of introspection, reconciliation and hope in the face of humanity's uncertain future.

Louise lives and works locally in the waterside village of Lawrenny, and says she is inspired by her natural surroundings and a deep interest in pre-history.
