This weekend, July 12-13, Scolton Manor Park near Haverfordwest is hosting VegOut West, a small and family-friendly, relaxed, vegan festival.

There will be live music and entertainment, food and shopping stalls, creative workshops and lots of activities including circus skills, willow weaving, clay, mixed media, painting, natural ink, story telling, , dance, a scavenger hunt, vegan cheese and chocolate tasting, bingo, talks, demos, and a kung fu taster session.

On Sunday afternoon, Maxine Allinson is offering a foraging walk in the grounds, included in the ticket price. The hour long session will take place in the woodlands and grounds at Scolton, identifying the medicinal and healing properties of the plants and trees growing there.

Musicians include Spiral Scouts, Vegan Queen V, Emaline Delapaix, BFriendly, and more! Plus DJ sets, open mic, and comedy with Dawn Chorus.

Enjoy a variety of 100 per cent vegan food, hot drinks, and free vegan marshmallow s’mores around the fire pit.

Explore healing and wellness through yoga, meditation, massage therapies, sound healing, and embodied dance.

Pembrokeshire Bouncy Castles are supplying the inflatable fun for VegOut West 2025 these will be free for visitors to enjoy. In addition there will be various games around the field, including swing ball, a giant connect 4, a jigsaw contest and a tug of war challenge!

Run by volunteers, this is a non-profit annual event, and the profits go to great causes including Camp Beagle who continue to campaign against animal testing in Britain. Wales Against Animal Experiments have a stall at VegOut West: Find out what you can do to help put an end to cruel, outdated animal testing.

Dogs are welcome, with water bowls and free waste bags available.
