The Imperial Hotel in Tenby is set to host its biggest August Bank Holiday celebration yet, with four days of live entertainment, music and community spirit overlooking one of Wales' most iconic coastlines.
Building on the success of its popular Tenby Rocks afternoons on the terrace, held every Saturday throughout the summer, the hotel has expanded the August Bank Holiday programme into a four-day celebration from Friday 28th to Monday 31st August, offering something for both visitors and locals alike.
The festivities begin on Friday evening with an exclusive ticketed event featuring renowned DJ Mammoth, aka Steve Dickson hitting the decks with Ibiza classics and house sets overlooking South Beach. Guests will also enjoy a specially prepared set menu in the Essence restaurant before dancing the night away in one of Tenby's most spectacular waterfront settings for £25 per person.
On Saturday, the much-loved Tenby Rocks event returns from 12pm until 7pm, with music and cocktails throughout the afternoon.
The celebrations continue on Sunday evening from 5pm until 10pm, with the hotel preparing to host a special community-focused event. Full details will be revealed in the coming weeks, but organisers promise an evening designed to bring together residents and visitors in celebration of everything that makes Tenby unique.
Rounding off the long weekend, Monday will see another afternoon of live entertainment from 12pm until 6pm, inspired by the popular Tenby Rocks format, with laid-back reggae sounds creating the perfect atmosphere for families and friends to enjoy the final day of the Bank Holiday.
Amelia Parkes, Group Marketing Executive at Crest Hotels, said: "Our Tenby Rocks afternoons have become a real highlight of the summer, attracting both local residents and visitors who love the relaxed atmosphere, great music, cocktails and unbeatable views from the Imperial Hotel.
"For the August Bank Holiday, we wanted to create something even bigger by extending the celebrations across the entire weekend.
"Tenby is one of the UK's favourite seaside destinations, and we're looking forward to welcoming guests from across Pembrokeshire for what promises to be an unforgettable Bank Holiday weekend."
