A new contemporary art exhibition titled The Spirit of Water has just opened at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery

The works by Ferryside artist Dorothy Morris explore her love of water and growing concern over the climate crisis.

David Jenkins, secretary of Carmarthen Together was invited to talk at the opening by Morris, who is donating 10% of sales to the charity.

The group aims to build community resilience in Carmarthen and the surrounding area.

Awarded excellence in visual arts by Carmarthenshire Cultural Services in 2022, Dorothy works in a wide range of materials including textiles, ceramics, mixed media and more traditional mediums such as water colours and acrylics.

Her works range from beautifully evocative seascapes to more experimental abstract works. All created with an extraordinary eye for colour and atmosphere.
