Rock icons GUN are coming to Pembrokeshire for a special acoustic show this weekend.

The rock legends, still going strong after three decades will be playing Narberth’s Queen’s Hall on Saturday, April 1 as part of their spring tour.

The band recently released new album ‘The Calton Songs’ to some fantastic reviews.

GUN have lived the true rock’n’roll over the years too - touring with the Rolling Stones to Bon Jovi, and winning MTV Europe awards.

During their career GUN have achieved 3 UK top 20 albums and 8 UK top 40 singles including a cover of Cameo’s ‘Word Up’ which reached the UK top 10 and charted all over Europe.

In 2022, GUN enjoyed chart success with ‘The Calton Songs’, with the album clocking in at #2 on the Scottish album chart, #6 on the UK Indie Chart, #13 on the UK Physical Album Chart, and #52 on the Official UK Album Chart.

GUN also received two major awards last November, with the band honoured with the Rock Legend award at Hard Rock Hell in Great Yarmouth and the Hard Rock Café Legends award at the Scottish Music Awards, the flagship event for the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy charity.

The current line up consists of original members Dante Gizzi (Vocals) & Giuliano Gizzi (Guitar) along with Paul McManus (Drums), Andy Carr (Bass) and David Aitken (Guitar).

Following a series of full-band shows over the Winter, Dante and Jools will be paring things back for a series of stripped-back acoustic shows this April/May, with the announcement of their ‘Acoustic ‘23 Tour’ - embarking on a run of 13 dates in some of the country’s more intimate spaces.

Promising an opportunity to hear GUN’s earth-splitting rock classics re-worked in an all new way, the shows will see the pair playing all their hits and sharing outlandish tales from the road too.

Then, commencing on April 6 at Dundee’s Beat Generator, with stops in Manchester, Norwich, Brighton, and beyond, the tour will come to a head with a performance at London’s legendary 100 Club on May 5, which will also see Dante and Jools joined by the full band.
