FOR a free-entry, fun-filled family day, head to Manorbier House on April 25 for the Rip Tide Garden Party, open 10am ’til late.
As the programme reveals, the Pembrokeshire community has come together to offer the best of the county all in one day, from free surf lessons to storytelling; live music and DJs to live art; and workshops in natural dying, collage and making mixed metal earrings.
The morning starts with a beach clean at 10am, with beach art at 10.30; meanwhile Blue Horizons will be offering free surf lessons for families and children!
Open midday until late, the market will include stalls from Barefoot by Martha, Underwood Farm, Cez Brew Ceramics, Six Foot & Clean, Elumin, Manor Bio, Emily Wicker Designs, Sian RJ Jewls and Pembrokeshire Thrift Shop.
Between 2pm and 6pm, Bluestone will be laying on kids’ activities and workshops. Other workshops in the afternoon are Hael Natural Colour (3-6pm), Di Ford Collage (midday-4pm), Sarah Emily Silver (1-5pm and Chris Elliott Woodwork (3-7pm).
Throughout the day there will be live art, exhibition and film, with Jason Powell, Alexis Sanders, Maisy Foley, Sandy Buoys, Ivan Black, Richard Van Renson, Laylas Media, Purple Acid Project, Adam Rees Surf Film, Lantern Project Productions, Tom Hare and Alice in Wonderland.
Enjoy fresh, local food from Cawl by Toby (midday-4pm), We Love Curry (5-9pm) and Manor Bio with her artisan bakes.
For live music, at 1.30pm there’s Destan Dönemi; 2.30pm Razorbill; 3.30pm Folktronic; 4.30pm Tomos Newman Band; 5.30pm Manocasa; 6.30pm Two Suns ft Adam Rees; 7.30pm Nipper & the Dawgs; 8.30pm Lost Roots.
DJs Paul Anderson, Rosa & Vi, Zion T, Underwood Sound, Panda, Arwen Varda, 00sebon, Ivan Black and Lockerz will be adding to the atmosphere. Visit tickettailor/manorbierevents for limited tickets for the Garden After Party (8am-1am).
