Renowned photographer Martin Parr CBE - well known for his seaside images, including ones of Tenby - where he had a holiday home, has passed away.
The 73-year-old whose colourful images captured British life, died at his home in Bristol on Saturday, December 6.
He opened his ‘Beside The Sea - Tenby Through the Lens of Martin Parr’ exhibition at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery back in 2023, with a focus on the seaside town that holds a special place in his heart.

Martin said at the time of his exhibition opening: “Tenby is the best. It’s like a postcard. But, unless you’re in Wales, you don’t know about Tenby. All the British middle classes go to Padstow. But Tenby’s a secret, so keep it quiet!”
