With a story by the most popular Welsh storyteller in the world, Roald Dahl, set to music by outstanding composer Paul Patterson and danced by the incomparable Ballet Cymru, what’s not to get excited about! 

Featuring glorious costumes, amazing dancing, and stunning video projections, this laugh out loud, delightfully wicked production was a huge hit for Ballet Cymru in 2016 and will visit the Torch Theatre in Milford Haven next month. 

The premiere Welsh story telling ballet company, Ballet Cymru, with its innovative design and choreography showcasing amazing dancers from Wales and around the world, continues to celebrate in style the amazingly rich cultural heritage of Wales. 

Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs are based on outstanding and internationally recognised musical scores by composer Paul Patterson. The two scores were commissioned by The Dahl Foundation and have become children’s classics played all over the globe. The Little Red Riding Hood score was featured in a 1995 BBC Christmas Day special featuring the voices of Ian Holm, Julie Walters and Danny DeVito. Now Patterson’s dazzling scores are set in dance for the first time.

This outstanding classical ballet was choreographed by Darius James OBE and Amy Doughty with music by composer Paul Patterson, costumes by Steve Denton and a stunning lighting design by John Bishop.
