As promised, here is the second instalment of pictures shared to our photography club during May... and a video of Tenby looking amazing today in the June sun!

Well, last night we shared some favourite photos of Tenby; today we’re travelling around the county a little bit.

The brilliant statue of the astonishingly overlooked ‘greatest knight‘ William Marshal was created by Harriet Addyman of Narberth and has stood in Pembroke for just over a year. It was perfectly captured on camera by Elizabeth Fitzgerald in a week that also saw his story being retold through the living history group Historia Normannis at Pembroke Castle.

Now here is a picture of the castle, taken by Elizabeth Thomas:

David Bailey has been bird watching near Tenby Museum…

Also thanks to Ruth, we’ve seen a very high tide at Carew Mill Pond…

… and Amroth, sitting pretty in the sunshine across from Wiseman's Bridge

Closer to Tenby, Fran Harper-Green shared a stunning view of the headland at Giltar Point.

Thanks to Elizabeth Thomas, we got to visit Lydstep Caverns, on the coast between Tenby and Manorbier…

… and earlier in the month, Caldey - the monastic island off Tenby, visited by boatloads of tourists during the summer, and where a humpback whale was recently spotted in the water!

Have a look through the gallery below and see if you can spot the Ogham stone, stained-glass fish and statue of St Samson, the island’s patron saint.
