FOR local makers, handcrafted gifts, artisan food and seasonal produce, check out the two-day Autumn Market at Llys-y-Frân Lake, Pembrokeshire this October.

Local makers, artists and small businesses from across Pembrokeshire will come together for a weekend autumn market at Llys-y-Frân, Clarbeston Road SA62 4RR on Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18.

Organised by local businesses Edge Furniture, the two-day event aims to celebrate the creativity, craftsmanship and individuality of small businesses across the region.

Visitors will be able to browse a carefully selected range of handmade products, gifts, artwork, crafts and locally produced goods, while meeting the people behind the businesses and discovering something different from the usual high-street offering.

Karl Hadlow-Davies of Edge Furniture said:

“We wanted to create an event that puts the focus firmly on local, independent businesses and the people who make their products.

“There are so many talented makers and small businesses in Pembrokeshire, and this is a chance to bring them together and give visitors the opportunity to shop locally and meet the makers themselves.”

The event will have an autumn theme, making it an ideal opportunity to start thinking about Christmas gifts while supporting independent Welsh businesses.

Whilst browsing the stalls, visitors can grab a bite to eat or cuppa and cake in Lakeside Café at the scenic Pembrokeshire visitor attraction.

Opening times are 10am-4pm on Saturday, October 17 and 10am-3pm on Sunday, October 18.

The organisers are deliberately keeping the event curated and focused on quality rather than quantity, with a selection of local businesses offering a varied range of products and experiences.

This autumn local business showcase is open to everyone, with visitors encouraged to come along, support local businesses and discover the wealth of talent within Pembrokeshire.
