At Pembroke Castle this weekend, discover the dramatic story of the Civil War garrison that changed sides and endured a six week siege.

The Sealed Knot invites you to take part in an authentic pike drill, dress in period costume and armour or try your hand at writing with a quill pen. Find out from their cooks exactly what is bubbling away in that cauldron whilst you discover what life in the 17th century was like.

‘A Castle at War; Life in a 17th century garrison’ spans Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11, 10am-5pm.
